Going vegan last November was something I never thought I’d end up doing, yet here I am six months later and loving it.
I’ll admit, I found it so difficult to begin with as my diet basically was basically cheese. I have never really liked milk or eggs so cutting those out was relatively easy when using them raw. However, I did find it quite difficult looking for foods that didn’t have milk or eggs in, like chocolate for example. I ended up having a limited variety in foods to begin with (mostly beige) because I could rarely find things that looked like they would be nice and not taste diabolical.
Then towards the end of January I had a massive craving for marshmallows. Which was weird, I hadn’t eaten marshmallows in a ridiculously long time. So I had an internet search and TheVeganKind kept popping up with their own supermarket, so I decided to check it out.
Oh my days, there was so much food on here. I was blown away by how much food could actually be vegan, I didn’t believe it at first.
It took a few weeks of going back and forth to TheVeganKind Supermarket website before I decided sod it, I want to try some of this colourful goodness.
7 Useful Tips To Follow For Switching To A Vegan Diet
The Order and Delivery
Ordering the items on TheVeganKind Supermarket was really easy to do with an easy to navigate website along with being able to keep your items in your basket for a certain amount of time.
I chose to have a standard delivery and I was surprised with how soon the delivery arrived and how small the packaging was (we love compact deliveries that have a low affect on the Earth).

The Food
Hot Chocolate ft Marshmallow
First stop, marshmallows. That is what we came here for initially so I added some big ones, small ones and hot chocolate. It was quite cool at the time and I had vegan squirty cream in the fridge waiting to be used (it was a great combination of goodness).
The marshmallows where a little on the pricey side, but definitely worth it. I’ve had them over a month now and still have a fair bit left. They are quite versatile as well, I’ve used them for toasting (of course), hot chocolate, cookies and puff pastry goodies!

Next up, snacks!
Let’s start with the drink and savoury snacks. I decided to try out Tenzing which was a nice berry flavour, it was one of those drinks where you have to have a few sips first to get used to and enjoy the taste.
The Rustici breadsticks were quite nice, especially with the Free From Garlic and Herb Soft Cheese from Tesco. I think I will keep these in mind for party hosting in the future because everyone loves breadsticks after a drink or two am I right?
The Eat Real Cheezie Straws and Quinoa Chips were the perfect savoury snacks. Both the flavours of these crisps were incredible and definitely something I would eat again.

Got A Sweet Tooth?
Miss Peanut M&M’s? These Miiro chocolate covered peanuts with a crispy shell coating are the perfect substitute. They are honestly delicious and definitely worth a try.
Are you missing cola bottles and fizzy sweets? This has always been something I have craved even as a vegetarian and every time I thought I found a good substitute it always ended up having a really chewy texture to the point you end up focusing on chewing the sweet rather than the taste. However, I think I’ve finally found the perfect replacements! These Sweetzone Fizzy Cola Bottles and Fizzy Bears are just right! If you’re looking for the cola bottle replacement then definitely give Sweetzone Fizzy Cola Bottles a go! If you’re looking for something more mixed and fruity, then the Fizzy Bears are the direction to head in. But why not just get both and try them out, you will see what I mean when I say they are the perfect vegan replacement.
Onto Love Raw, possibly my favourite find. These cream filled wafer bars are very similar to kinder beuno bars but vegan of course. Absolutely divine, I would buy again for certain. Love Raw actually have a new white chocolate version of this bar which I am eager to try out when I can!

Chocolate Goodness
But when you’re vegan you can’t eat chocolate? Of course you can you just need to find the milk free chocolates to enjoy!
These Moo Free White Buttons and Choccy Buttons were brilliant to eat on their own or to use them for baking purposes.
Mummy Eggz were a great alternative to Cream Eggs as I was craving that around the time of purchase. The only thing I will say is that they were very sticky so try not to get it everywhere like I somehow managed to.
I loved the Enjoy Opulent Orange Chocolate Bar it had just the right amount of orange kick to it!

I do recommend using TheVeganKind supermarket for to get some delicious foods that aren’t available in most places. The delivery time and cost is reasonable, some of the products are a little bit more pricey but you can often find some offers. Whether you have been vegan for a while or looking to change to veganism TheVeganKind supermarket is worth ordering from.
Do you fancy treating yourself to some vegan goodies from TheVeganKind supermarket now? There are so many more products that just these I’ve written about today take a look for yourself.
