At the end of January I was contacted by Jolie Beauty to try out their new Ridiculash Eyelash Growth Serum that was soon to be launched. The Ridiculash serum has been designed to enhance the growth of natural lashes with results showing within 4 to 6 weeks.
When I received the product I was impressed by the presentation. If you’ve seen my Jolie Beauty Faux Eyelash post, then you’ll know how much I love the iridescent boxes! Inside the box there was a rose gold tube which contained the eyelash growth serum and the applicator.
I love the colour of the tube and it is a good pocket size as well so fits nicely inside the bathroom cupboard. It would also fit great in a makeup bag when travelling away somewhere (when it is allowed again of course).
I was quite excited to use the product and anticipating the results in 4 to 6 weeks.
Using the Eyelash Growth Serum
I found using the eyelash growth serum an absolute breeze. All you have to do is unscrew the applicator tube and apply the serum to your lash line using the brush inside the tube. I found the application of the serum quite relaxing as well. Usually when things go near my eyes they tend to flinch but because of the softness of the brush there was less flinching and more relaxing!
I applied this every night and it took less than 1 minute which I loved because when I am going to bed I want to get everything done before I fall asleep in the bathroom.
Three Weeks Later
After 3 weeks I started to notice a slight increase in the length in my eyelashes, but not a drastic change. As I mentioned earlier though the serum is supposed to show the results within 4 to 6 weeks, so I didn’t expect a lot at this point!
The Comparison
The main difference that I have noticed in the past 6 weeks of using this serum is the thickness and strength of my eyelashes. I haven’t noticed any lashes falling out and getting stuck on my face recently either.
As you may be able to tell from the photos below, my eyelashes seem to have become fuller which is amazing. I can only imagine the difference in fullness of my lashes in the next 4 to 6 weeks! I have also noticed a slight increase in the length of my eyelashes but not a drastic difference.
I didn’t use any mascara in either of these photos because I wanted to see what the difference would be with my natural lashes.
Overall Thoughts
So far so good. I have only been using the serum for 6 weeks and I am really impressed with the differences so far. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing the difference in the next few months! I still have quite a fair amount of the serum left so this should last a good while and definitely makes it worth the purchase for how long it will last.
